You’re Not Alone
Grief Support
Grieving is an intensely personal and multifaceted experience, one that often defies simple solutions or clear stages. While the journey may feel overwhelming, it's important to remember that you're not alone. Our approach to grief support goes beyond mere comfort; we aim to empower you with tools and understanding using the Mentally STRONG method that honor the uniqueness of your loss. Reaching out for support is a courageous step toward healing, and we are here to guide you through every stage of your journey.
Healing Approach
Grief Support Philosophy
Grief is not something that can be “fixed” by external support alone. True healing comes from within, by acknowledging and processing the unique layers of your pain. The Mentally STRONG method focuses on helping you identify and work through your grief in a way that honors your personal experience, rather than offering generic solutions helping you to organize your thoughts, separate grief from other emotional challenges, and cherish the memories of those you’ve lost.
Dr. B understands this intimately, having faced her own profound losses, including the devastating death of her daughter. Through the Mentally STRONG method, she found a way to cope with her grief—by acknowledging the pain, separating it from the trauma, and ultimately finding a way to cherish and honor their memories.
Dr. B shares, “I have committed to grieving publicly, much of which is on the YouTube playlist and in my documentary.” Through her own experiences with loss, she has found ways to cope and help others do the same. She also believes in the importance of guiding the next generation through their struggles. The Raising Mentally STRONG Kids course reflects this by teaching parents how to care for their child’s mental health with a focus on both the mind and the brain. This approach helps children grow stronger and more resilient, even in tough times, ensuring their needs are met with love and care.
Healing from Loss
Healing from loss isn’t about “moving on”—a phrase that can often feel dismissive of the profound impact loss has on our lives. Instead, it’s about “moving forward,” a journey that honors the memory of what was lost while embracing the complexities of grief. Loss changes you; it reshapes your identity and challenges your emotional, mental, and spiritual resilience.
The Mentally STRONG approach to healing is rooted in the belief that grief is deeply individual. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, we follow the process with you to explore your unique grief experience. This includes acknowledging the layers of your pain, identifying how your loss intertwines with other aspects of your life, and learning to cherish the relationship you had with the person or thing you’ve lost, while also processing the trauma that may accompany it.
Compassionate Care

Through the Mentally STRONG Method, we help you organize and process your grief in a way that resonates with your unique experience. While our resources may not include a conventional team structure, we are committed to offer guidance and support needed to journey through your grief with clarity and purpose.

Youth Healing
Youth Grief Support
Children and adolescents experience grief in a uniquely personal way, which can differ significantly from how adults process loss. Their developmental stage often influences their understanding and expression of grief, making it crucial to address their specific needs with sensitivity and care. The Mentally STRONG approach to youth grief support is designed to provide a safe space where young people can explore and express their emotions constructively.
Instead of relying solely on external “support”—a term that may suggest others can resolve their pain—our approach empowers youth to recognize, understand, and work through their grief individually. The Mentally STRONG Method focuses on helping them identify their pain, explore the layers of their grief, and develop the personalized tools needed to navigate this challenging experience. This process encourages emotional growth, resilience, and the ability to cherish their lost relationships without becoming overwhelmed by negative emotions.
