Sharon Sawyer, FNP, PMHNP
As both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner, Sharon possesses the expertise to assess and treat your mind and body. She believes integrating physical and mental health care is crucial for optimal outcomes. Additionally, Sharon is a certified professional brain health coach, allowing her to guide you toward overall well-being and personal growth.
Sharon Sawyer brings over 30 years of healthcare experience, focusing on mental health care throughout her career. She has worked in various settings, including inpatient adult, geriatric, and pediatric units, corrections facilities, and level 1 mental health crisis units. Notably, Sharon spent a decade providing emergency room care for psychiatric patients in crisis. Her background as a former combat medic and Army veteran has given her a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by veterans.
